Hi, I’m Justin!
I’m a Los Angeles-based social media and digital content professional focused on real-time storytelling, fan engagement, and brand growth in sports and community-driven spaces. I’m a recent graduate of UC Riverside with a bachelor’s degree in sociology, and my goal is to build a career in professional sports through social media by telling the stories of athletes as they grow, compete, and evolve.
My experience spans both nonprofit and athletic environments, where I’ve developed and executed social-first content strategies that drive measurable results. As Social Media Coordinator for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, I helped increase engagement by 54 percent and grow audience reach by nearly 25 percent by leading integrated content calendars, refining brand voice, and collaborating across teams. In athletic settings with California Gold Basketball and high school athletic programs, including CIF-SS Championship games and North Torrance High School, I produce game-day coverage, highlight reels, and athlete storytelling that bring fans closer to the action and support consistent audience growth.
I own the full creative process from ideation and on-site capture to editing, publishing, and performance analysis. My skill set includes video production, photography, copywriting, and analytics, supported by tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, and Sprout Social. Paired with my background in sociology, this allows me to understand audience behavior and create content that resonates beyond highlights and scores.
Looking ahead, I’m motivated to help professional teams translate live moments into meaningful digital experiences while documenting the journeys of athletes along the way. Whether capturing early career milestones or peak performance moments, I aim to create content that builds connection, community, and long-term fan loyalty.
Thanks for being here. I’m always open to connecting and collaborating on stories that move people.
Cheers,
Justin
